Real Madrid needed extra time to defeat Celta Vigo and book a place in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey. With the game ending 2-2 after 90 minutes, Brazilian Endrick scored twice in the second half of the extra period to send Carlo Ancelotti's side through.

Jonathan Bamba equalised for the visitors in the 83rd minute as Pablo Duran gobbled up Eduardo Camavinga's sloppy touch on the edge of his own box and squared for his fellow substitute. Bamba then won a stoppage-time penalty for Celta, getting a toe to the ball ahead of Raul Asencio who clattered into the Ivory Coast international.
