The Powers to Gold Beach section is the Rogue-Coquille National Scenic Byway. The gem of this route, though, is driving to Marial on the wild section of the Rogue River.

The Oregon Department of Transportation says the crash happened on the highway 4 miles east of Roseburg at Hatfield Drive late Wednesday night.
