Sixteen names of fallen service members are inscribed on the plaque outside St. Helena City Hall. The St. Helena Public Cemetery has a more comprehensive monument containing an additional 12 names.

The South Atlantic island of St. Helena is celebrating the birthday of the world’s oldest living land animal – a Seychelles giant tortoise called Jonathan, who is turning 190.
