The 2025 National Dog Show returns on Thanksgiving. Here's how to watch in Connecticut
Connecticut residents can watch the show on NBC Connecticut (Channel 30) or WNBC (Channel 4), depending on their specific media market. The show also will be broadcast on Peacock and will air directly after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
When people think of certain dog breeds, Golden Retrievers and Labradors probably top the list. Bernese Mountain Dogs, Dachshunds, and Chihuahuas are still very popular, with numerous large and small breeds readily available.
Co-hosted by actor John O’Hurley and dog expert David Frei, the annual parade of pedigreed pooches has become one of the most popular events of Thanksgiving day. And this year, the National Dog Show is paying homage to the movie that inspired the creation of the canine competition — the cult-classic "Best in Show."
Catch the 23rd annual National Dog Show on Thursday, November 27, from 12-2 p.m. ET on NBC. The 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade precedes it at 9/8c.
