In August, all the businesses attached to Southgate Mall had to close their doors for over a week. Officials explained that was because of a blocked water line that created a fire safety hazard.

The victim, 20-year-old Rakeem Floyd, of Chambersburg, was found dead outside the Southgate Mall around 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 18.Police said witnesses told them there was a fight before shots were fired.
