DirecTV has a new streaming service called MySports available now with 40 channels including ESPN, Fox Sports and NFL Network in 24 cities.

DirecTV has concluded that there are fans out there who would pay $70 a month essentially just for sports channels, on Tuesday unveiling the new offering MySports.

At $70 per month (after the initial discount), the new DirecTV MySports package could be a compelling alternative, especially as it offers a variety of non-sports-focused channels like TNT, TBS, USA Network and the major news channels.

DirecTV has launched a new sports streaming package called called MySports beta. The streaming service provides numerous sports channels for cheaper monthly payments than YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV and fuboTV.

At launch, the platform will cost $50 per month for the first three months. After that, all subscribers will transition to the regular price of $70 per month.
