Today, Stardock released beta 3 of Fleet Battles for the highly anticipated science-fiction adventure game, Star Control: Origins. The beta is available to anyone who pre-ordered the game.

That game, however, was more of a D&D hack to support Heritage Games’ miniature line. The major competition in the market at the time was Star Fleet Battles from Task Force Games.
