Principal Tracey Pickard says her school — like many in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and across the country — faced teacher vacancies and students who were readjusting to in-person classes.
The school’s principal, Tracey Pickard, sat down exclusively with Channel 9 reporter Anthony Kustura to talk about safety on campus. She says it’s her top priority.
Tracey Pickard, who takes over a 1,600-student neighborhood high school in Huntersville, has been principal of the CMS Virtual High School (formerly known as eLearning Academy) since 2016.
Pratt was entering his second year at the school taking over for Tracey Pickard. Vanosdall’s first day will be Tuesday, Sept. 3. Mike Turner is serving as the interim principal.
