Three years ago, the University of Alabama demolished the old Tutwiler Hall to make room for a new residence hall.
Built in 1968, Tutwiler Hall is the second incarnation of the girls’ residence hall. The first was built in 1914 and was located on the land where Rose Administration now stands.
