How the stock reached a new all-time closing high and reclaimed its spot as the largest company by market capitalization.

The stock rose 4.3 per cent to $154.31, taking out an all-time high that has stood since January. The record is only the latest milestone for the company, which has risen 63 per cent off an April low, a rally that has added nearly $1.5 trillion to its market capitalization.

Nvidia has rebuilt the optimism around its stock, which was dented earlier this year when a breakthrough by China’s DeepSeek led to concerns about the durability of Nvidia’s dominant position in the global AI infrastructure market. That event wiped nearly $600bn from the company’s market value.
