The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories for parts of 8 New Jersey counties for a snowstorm starting Saturday afternoon.

Northeast Ohio's forecast for this weekend calls for sunshine on Friday, followed by periods of rain and snow Saturday and Sunday.

The National Weather Service forecasts that snow could begin falling in the morning before changing over to rain as the temperature climbs into the mid 30s in the afternoon. Forecasters expect an accumulation of about an inch of snow before it becomes a slushy mess.
