Hunter Brown gave up two runs in 6 2/3 innings and the Houston Astros jumped on Atlanta right-hander Bryce Elder early to beat the Braves 6-2.

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve was removed from Saturday’s 6-2 win over the Braves in the third inning with right foot discomfort. Altuve left the game after hitting a third inning single and then getting forced out at second base on a fielder’s choice.

Facing Braves right hander Bryce Elder (7-9, 5.31 ERA, 112 SO) tonight would be Hunter Brown (11-7, 2.25 ERA, 190 SO). The Astros won his last outing 11-0 (vs. Rangers), but lost the previous three in a row in which he started.
