Mortal Kombat 1’s next guest character is Conan the Barbarian
Conan’s appearance in Mortal Kombat 1 is based off the 1982 movie of the same name starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. And while Arnold lent his likeness to the fighter, voice actor Chris Cox — who also portrayed the Terminator in Mortal Kombat 11 — does an impeccable job recreating the governator’s iconic Austrian accent.

Here's Conan the Barbarian in Mortal Kombat 1
Netherrealm Studios still has two really nice guest characters coming to Mortal Kombat 1, namely Conan the Barbarian (Arnold Schwarzenegger version) and T-1000. The former will be the first of them and will be released on January 28. However, if you have Khaos Reigns or Kombat Pack 2, you can download him already on January 21 - this Tuesday.

Just when you thought that we were not going to get more Arnold Schwarzenegger representation in a fighting game, Mortal Kombat 1 and Netherrealm Studios decided to go the distance. Conan will be the Governator's new entry into the battle for Earthrealm on January 21st.

In his Brutality, Conan can be seen grabbing Scorpion by the shoulder, while tossing his sword straight up into the air. Conan then stabs his enemy under the chin with a smaller blade, using a volley of punches to further drive it into Scorpion’s face and up through his head.

Conan the Barbarian Slices Heads Off in Mortal Kombat 1 Next Week
The latest Mortal Kombat 1 guest character, Conan the Barbarian, will be available for Kombat Pack 2 owners to play from 21st January 2025 in a week of early access. The fighter becomes available for everyone else on 28th January, leaving standard players an extra seven days to mull over the gameplay trailer above.
