Ford Motor Company has issued a recall for 272,827 of its Bronco Sport SUVs and Maverick pickups due to a manufacturing defect in their 12-volt batteries. The flaw, which affects vehicles made between February 2021 and October 2023,

Ford's latest in a string of (many) recalls covers the Bronco Sport made from 2021-2023 and the 2022-2023 Maverick. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that the Ford recall covers 272,817 models in total, which will be recalled for an issue with the 12-volt battery in both models.
