A third-party maker of gaming accessories created a mockup of Nintendo's next video game console, the Switch 2, and is showing off features Nintendo has yet to announce, including an optical sensor and a new controller button.

The Switch 2 mockup boasts a sleek matte black design, larger magnetic Joy-Cons, a mystery sensor, an extra USB-C port, and a sturdier kickstand. Nothing is official until Nintendo announces it, but we should hear something official from Nintendo in the coming weeks.

While Nintendo hasn't revealed the Switch 2, CES 2025 saw many companies announce their entry into, or updates for, the handheld PC space.
