With 13 games left in the regular season, the Mets are playing their worst baseball and are currently out of a playoff spot.
The Mets blew a 2-0 lead in a 3-2 loss to the Rangers, their eighth straight defeat, with Carlos Mendoza admitting frustration amid the skid.
The Mets were swept on their home field by the Phillies, cutting their lead to just 3.5 games and kicking off a stretch in which they lost 12 of 17 to end the regular season.
