Arsenal have been given encouragement by Chelsea in their pursuit of Noni Madueke as talks are set to accelerate.

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Noni Madueke as they consider making an approach to Chelsea for the winger. Madueke, 23, has given his green light to the move but there have been no club-to-club talks yet.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are looking for a fee in excess of £50m. Reports earlier suggested that we might take £40m, but this latest story makes it pretty clear that we (probably) would not.
