Tornado touched down in Ohio Sunday, NWS confirms
Ohio likely saw its last tornado of the year on Sunday. An EF0 tornado touched down just west of Marysville around 3 p.m., the National Weather Service confirmed. The tornado toppled a small silo, several small to medium-sized trees and caused minor damage to a barn.
NWS confirms EF0 tornado touched down in Union County during Sunday storms
UNION COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — The National Weather Services confirmed that an EF0 tornado hit Union County during storms on Sunday afternoon. NSW says the tornado began on a property near Payne Road, just west of Marysville. Wind speeds peaked at 70 mph, the tornado traveled .35 miles and lasted for about one minute.

NWS Wilmington surveyed damage in Union County, Ohio, confirming a weak EF0 tornado touched down, just west of Marysville. According to data released by the NWS, the EF0 tornado reached peak winds of 70 miles per hour and traveled less than half a mile, but did leave some damage.
Tornado warning affecting Forest County Sunday evening
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning at 7:37 p.m. on Sunday in effect until 8 p.m. for Forest County.
