Veteran defensive lineman Ndamdukong Suh, who won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, is retiring after playing 13 seasons in the NFL.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has officially retired from the NFL at the age of 38. The five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro played for the Bucs from 2019-21 and was a big part of the Super Bowl LV champion squad that beat Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 at Raymond James Stadium.

To announce his retirement, Suh shared a heartfelt message on social media, paying tribute to his late father, who he lost exactly one year ago today. It was his dad who told Suh to “let football go” before he passed, telling Ndamukong, “You’ve done everything you set out to do.”
