Diego Lopes needed to bounced back from a featherweight title loss earlier this year – and he did so in a big, big way.

Lopes is one of the best in the Featherweight division, entering Saturday night as the No. 2 contender. He is looking to bounce back after losing to Alexander Volkanovski for the vacant UFC Featherweight title by unanimous decision at UFC 314 back in April. It ended Lopes’ five-bout win streak.

Former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor re-affirmed his commitment Friday to competing on the card scheduled for the White House lawn in Washington, D.C., next year.

No fights have been announced for the card expected to take place on July 4. Former UFC champions Jon Jones and Conor McGregor have both advocated being on the card. White said there's "a billion to one" chance Jones competes at the event, citing trust issues.
