North Platte got on the board in the first inning after a Sheena Smith double plated Arellano from second. The Knights went on to add three more runs in the bottom half of the second inning.

The Knights (4-14) return to Region IX action on April 1 against Central Community College. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. at the Dowhower Softball Complex in North Platte.
