Teams across the AFC South are making coaching changes as the 2024-25 NFL season winds down. On Friday, the Houston Texans fired offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik and sent offensive line coach Chris Strausser out the door with him (per Ian Rapoport | NFL Network ).

According to NFL.com, the Texans top needs to address this offseason include receiver, guard, defensive tackle, cornerback, and offensive tackle. The Texans currently have $6.08 million in available cap space, according to Over the Cap. Relative to the rest of the NFL, this ranks 24th.

In AFC South news, the Indianapolis Colts weren’t the only team to announce a coaching move this week. So did the Jaguars and Texans.

The Indianapolis Colts are well into their search for a new defensive coordinator. They have completed interviews with all five confirmed candidates.  Multiple of their current list of candidates is viewed as top defensive coordinator's options throughout the NFL.
