TJ McConnell suffered a lower body injury 30 seconds into his appearance in Saturday's game between the Pacers and Hawks.

Pacers point guard T.J. McConnell sprained his right ankle in the first quarter of Saturday's game against the Hawks and will not return.

McConnell appears to have tweaked the same ankle that caused him to miss two games in late February. Bennedict Mathurin and Jarace Walker should see an uptick in playing time off the bench for as long as McConnell is out of the game.

McConnell once again provided a lift off the Indiana bench Thursday, leading all Pacers bench players in scoring and assists while swiping a team-high pair of steals in a balanced performance. McConnell has put forth at least nine points and six assists in 10 outings,
