LSU is reportedly set to hire Louisiana native Lance Guidry to help run its defense in 2025 after Guidry was fired as DC at Miami.

Guidry has made multiple stops in Louisiana at the high school and college level. He coached at Leesville and Carencro High before returning to McNeese as the defensive coordinator for the first time from 2000-04.
