Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, the official climate observation site for the Mississippi Gulf Coast, recorded a morning low temperature of 7° according to the National Weather Service office in New Orleans. That breaks the daily record of 17° set back in 1985 and is the third coldest temperature on record for Gulfport-Biloxi.
