Wink Martindale has defensive coordinator interviews set up with the Falcons and Colts, according to NFL Network. Per the report, the Bengals are also a potential option for the former Giants and current Michigan defensive coordinator. He will meet with Atlanta on Tuesday and Indianapolis on Thursday. The Giants have upgraded their defensive coaching staff with the addition of former Falcons DC Marquand Manuel.

Coaching aside, the Giants' defense needs a major infusion of talent on this side of the ball in the worst way. On their defensive line, they have Dexter Laernce, but they have not quite found a player in the mold of Leonard Williams who can pair with Lawrence to help take some of the onus off him.
