Temperatures will reach freezing levels throughout the weekend, but the rain and snow expected had the NBA worried about team and fan safety.

Thursday night’s game featuring the Portland Trail Blazers at the Dallas Mavericks has been moved up one hour “due to inclement weather,” the NBA has announced. The game will start at 4:30 p.m. at American Airlines Arena. A heavy snowstorm is expected to hit the Dallas area.
