COLUMBIA COUNTY, NY (WRGB) — A Columbia County 16-year old faces charges after New York State Police say she falsely reported a kidnapping on Thursday.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office found a man sleeping in his car on the side of the road, which led to the seizure of over 45 pounds of marijuana and his arrest.
He was arraigned in Claverack Town Court and sent without bail to Columbia County Jail. Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Travis VanAlstyne at 518-828-0601 ext. 1405.
