Disneyland in Anaheim, 40 kilometres south-east of Los Angeles, has just kicked off its 70th anniversary celebrations and millions are expected to join the party. The happiest birthday of them all.

Fairbanks runner Jane Lanford will celebrate her 70th birthday by running 70 miles on the Denali Highway June 7-9, raising funds for the international charity ShelterBox USA.
