READING, Pa. – Reading City Council on Monday night awarded contracts for materials and labor for the installation of an outdoor ice-skating rink at the 3rd and Spruce Recreation Center.

A permanent seasonal ice-skating rink. A location has not yet been identified, but administrators said one of the requirements will be a place where there is access to a 480-volt electrical line.
