A woman has been arrested after leaving her son unattended along a road, allowing him to run off in the night following a tantrum and falsely reporting a kidnapping.

The video shows the little boy running into a Mesa, Arizona, street as a mother in her car screams and honks her horn as drivers zoom by — with some swerving mere inches from the toddler.
