After a wait of more than 140 years, five central towers of Barcelona’s famous Sagrada Familia basilica are at last finished.

The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona will finally be finished in 2026, more than 140 years after construction started, officials have confirmed.

A nativity scene (center) is above the main doorway of Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The cathedral, designed by Antoni Gaudi, was begun in 1882 and is expected to be completed in 2026.
