Court records show the filed suit on Oct. 9 against the school as well as the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity, Alpha Chi Rho’s CCU chapter and two members of the fraternity who were also CCU students.

The national fraternity chapter did respond immediately to The Sun News for comment. Alpha Chi Rho appealed the decision on Nov. 17, but the suspension was upheld by the appellate authority on Jan. 3.
