FOLSOM, Calif. — Officials with the Folsom Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday that the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area will reopen Friday at six park entrances.

The State Parks and Recreation Commission voted unanimously to rename a day-use area in the Folsom Lake Recreation Area after years of calls to do so.
