Two abandoned hotels on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach have gone up in flames in recent months, and they’re both owned by the same company.

A new retro voco by IHG hotel, the first in SC, opened in June in Myrtle Beach in the oceanfront corridor along Ocean Boulevard. It's called The Shelby.

Families from Los Angeles can fly right into Myrtle Beach International Airport from LAX. Many airlines make this trip, including Spirit, Southwest, American, United, and Delta.
