Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lodged a strong protest with the Indian Government over the ‘false and fabricated’ comments and statements being made by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

On Wednesday night, a massive mob set fire to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's house in Dhaka after his daughter and ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina appealed to Awami League workers to protest against the Muhammad Yunus-led interim government.

The development comes a day after Hasina's speech on Wednesday night in which she called upon the countrymen to organise a resistance against the current regime.
