People across the country are remembering civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. Monday. Part of his legacy includes leading a march from Selma, Alabama to the state capitol in Montgomery in March of 1965.

Despite the cold, folks around the state gathered for a march in Waterville to remember and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Some marchers carried signs saying “no human should be illegal” and “immigrants rights are civil rights,” referencing President Donald Trump’s rhetoric.

From rice and soy to dehydrated vegetables and vitamins, more than 100 FedEx employees on Monday were assembling meals for others in need at the corporate headquarters in Moon Township.Rise Against Hunger will then take these meals and give them to people around the world.
