Microsoft today announced that it will "soon" be combining its Xbox and Xbox Game Pass apps on the iPhone and iPad, as well as on Android.

Rumors have been floated before about an Xbox portable console, but evidence is building that Microsoft may debut a Switch and Steam Deck competitor.

With the PS5 Pro storming out to store shelves later this year, the absence of a mid-generation refresh for the Xbox Series X is even more notable. But Microsoft is reportedly focusing on its next-gen hardware plans instead.
