Two sailors were rescued from Puget Sound on Saturday after they were thrown off a sailboat during the Possession Point Race.

Fisherman Zach Lalonde was in the right place at the right time, and he used his kayak to rescue the two Labrador retrievers.

An older man was rescued from the waters beneath the New Youngs Bay Bridge near Astoria on Thursday night, authorities said.
