Fire crews rescued a man who fell down a wooded embankment Tuesday morning along a hiking trail near Seth Green Drive.

Sunday afternoon, members of the Rowan County Rescue task force were called into action when a parachutist ended up landing in trees off of South Main Street due to a parachute malfunction.

A Utah County search and rescue crew set up "a series of rope systems" to safely help the hiker down. The hiker was then treated by medical responders and did not need to be hospitalized.
