Offering tuition-free classes and a chance for health care workers to climb the career ladder, Arkansas Health Care Association had its grand opening of the School of Nursing in Little Rock.

Hours The Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site visitor center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free to visit.

Last week, the Navy also decommissioned the 5-year-old USS Little Rock at Mayport and quietly retired the 5-year-old USS Sioux City on Aug. 14 and the 8-year-old USS Milwaukee on Sept. 8.
