The Braves formally have achieved their first losing season in almost a decade. Atlanta lost another one to Houston, this time 6-2, as Bryce Elder got beat up and Matt Olson hit a homer.

Hunter Brown gave up two runs in 6 2/3 innings and the Houston Astros jumped on Atlanta right-hander Bryce Elder early to beat the Braves 6-2.

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve was removed from Saturday’s 6-2 win over the Braves in the third inning with right foot discomfort. Altuve left the game after hitting a third inning single and then getting forced out at second base on a fielder’s choice.
