Russia launched 550 drones and missiles across Ukraine overnight in the largest aerial assaults since the war began. The capital Kyiv was the primary target.

Russia pummelled Kyiv with the largest drone attack of the war, injuring at least 23 people and damaging buildings across the capital only hours after U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Russia's Vladimir Putin,

"If it were not for him, we would have died," 10-year-old Mykola Vorozhko said of his dog named Buddy. Vorozhko, who lives with mother Oleksandra Vorozhko and elder sister Kira, said Buddy woke them up and pulled to the shelter as Russia was pummeling Kyiv with the largest drone attack of the war.
