Dangerous wind chills and more snow are making Thursday and Friday First Alert Weather Days, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather Team. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the Tri-State until 9 a.m.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Today is a First Alert Weather Day because of wintry precipitation creating some slick driving conditions. As of 6 a.m., the Lubbock Police Department has already responded to some wrecks, even though precipitation amounts have been fairly light.

A First Alert Weather Day is in effect for wind gusts that will climb upwards of 40 MPH with our next round of rain.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A wild ride of winter weather will unfold across Alabama over the next 48 hours, including the risk of some snow and/or ice for *parts* of the state. But first, Thursday will get off to a brutally cold start! Temperatures will drop into the 19-25 degree range by sunrise. Sunshine will warm us into the 40s by afternoon.
