BATON ROUGE, La.-- DJ Lagway threw a career-high five interceptions, the run game was stuffed and the Florida Gators on Saturday fell to 1-2 for the second season in a row with a 20-10 loss at No. 3 LSU.
BATON ROUGE, La. (WCJB) - Florida (1-2, 0-1 SEC) quarterback DJ Lagway threw five interceptions in a 20-10 loss to No. 3 LSU (3-0, 1-0 SEC) on Saturday. Lagway’s five interceptions, are the second-most in a game ever by a Gator quarterback. He completed 33 passes on 49 attempts (67%) for 287 yards and one touchdown.
The Florida Gators (1-2, 0-1 SEC) stumbled through a turnover-filled effort in a 20-10 loss to LSU that again displayed the struggles for Florida on the offensive side of the ball. Florida has scored just two touchdowns over its last eight quarters and dropped to 20-21 overall and 4-10 in road games under head coach Billy Napier.
