Haas Automation’s lawsuit against former team principal Guenther Steiner and his publisher, Ten Speed Press, has been dismissed, according to court documents from the Central District Court of California.

The California judge agreed, ruling that the logos were artistically relevant to the book and did not explicitly mislead readers. This decision, based on the Rogers test, which is commonly used in trademark law, effectively dismissed Haas Automation's claims.

Guenther Steiner has won a lawsuit against his former employer, Haas F1. The American team filed against their former team principal, because of alleged copyright infringement in his book. However, the court decided against the constructor.

Haas Automation have seen their case dismissed by a US judge after they claimed former team principal Guenther Steiner infringed on their trademark. The American company claimed that Steiner had infringed on their trademark in his 2022 book Surviving to Drive but a US judge has now ruled that to be inaccurate.
