In Friday’s 8-3 win against his former team, deGrom’s first start against the Mets, their former ace served as a glaring contrast to a rotation that’s gone from the team’s biggest strength to its most glaring weakness.

Jacob deGrom is excited to be going back to where his career began, the home stadium where he made 109 of his 245 starts in the big leagues and had back-to-back Cy Young Award-winning seasons with the New York Mets.
