Telangana Congress minister Konda Surekha has ignited a controversy by linking BRS working president KT Rama Rao to the divorce of actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya.

On Wednesday (2 October 2024), Surekha claimed that KTR’s interference led to a rift in Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s relationship, resulting in a divorce. This sparked major controversy, and the actor filed a criminal defamation lawsuit against Surekha. He also now filed another Rs. 100 crore defamation case.

Surekha Konda says whatever she said about Samantha and Naga Chaitanyas divorce was from an internal source from the industry after retracting her statement.
