A New Jersey man died after he hit a moose with his motorcycle on Interstate 95 in Maine Sunday, the Maine State Police Department said. The moose died, too, police said. Anand Sreedharan, 50, of Princeton, was driving southbound around 7 p.m. when he hit a moose that crossed into his lane, police said.

Anand Sreedharan, of Princeton, N.J., was traveling southbound when a moose “crossed into his lane and was struck by his motorcycle,” police said.
