A huge line of severe weather passed through on Thursday night, killing one person in New Jersey and complicating travel for millions on the move for the Fourth of July weekend.

The House on Thursday passed President Donald Trump's major tax cut and spending bill in a 218 to 214 vote. Trump is expected to sign the bill into law on Friday.
